On April 29th, alumni of St. Lawrence Seminary helped to prepare the grounds for springtime. Tim Kell, a St. Francis parishioner [pictured here], was one of the main organizers of the event. We thank them for their service and help, even in the rain!

Silent Auction winners of the dinner prepared by the postulants were treated to their prize on April 30. Joe and Jeannie Buechel, friends of Fr. Mike from Oshkosh, traveled to Milwaukee to collect on a delicious dinner prepared by the three Capuchin postulants. Fr. Perry McDonald joined them along with Renee Buechel. A fabulous meal was enjoyed by all!

The Capuchin Walk for the Hungry, benefiting the House of Peace and St. Ben’s Community Meal, will take place this year IN-PERSON.
The two-mile walk is on June 9th, at 6:00pm at the Polish Festival Grounds. You can sign up online at Capuchin Community Services: www.capuchincommunityservices.org/

St. Francis of Assisi has been helping Habitat for Humanity build houses in the Midtown and Harambee neighborhoods for the past several years.
Habitat for Humanity is looking to recruit volunteers to help continue this mission. No prior experience in building and construction is necessary as Habitat for Humanity has professionals on-site who will teach, coach and manage the process.
