Prison Ministry
St. Francis of Assisi Church sponsors a Prison Ministry Program that is inspired by Matthew 25:31-46, seeing Jesus in the broken, sick and incarcerated. The Program provides group discussions and events that encourage responsibility, accountability, and integrity for inmates re-entering our community and coping with the changes in society since their incarceration.

Human Concerns Committee
Catholic Social Teaching encourages the People of God to walk with two feet - one of mercy, and one for justice. The Human Concerns Committee seeks to engage parishioners in outreach ministries to the local community, such as the St. Ben's Community and the holiday Giving Tree. Several times per year, collections at Mass are used to support wider efforts toward justice beyond the parish and city. The community of St. Francis is blessed with time, talent and treasure readily offered to our neighbors in need.
